There isn't enough space on campus to do all of the graduations in one day!


Some colleges still have their graduation on Friday along with the University one, but many have to wait until Saturday. It's just a simple matter of too many graduates and not enough space.

Look at the schedule from last year (if the copy/paste works ok). Engineering can't even fit into Cassell anymore. They have two separate ceremonies and both are still in Cassell.
